Just executing better. Getting into plays that help the offense as a whole, knowing our assignments better and just starting off stronger as you know we've struggled to do at times.
We have some fast guys out there. It's always fun to compete with each other at practice in the outfield. It's going to be a fun year out there.
The balls definitely carry a lot more. There should be some more home runs this year. Some of the guys on the team will have more home runs. On defense we'll have to cover some more ground.
I'maa tell you right now as an experience, dammit, I'm going to enjoy that one as much as I hate to admit it.
It was like the Colosseum in Rome and we were the Christians.
I think we are trying to improve for next week. Period. I do not think anybody is thinking about anything else.
I do not know what to think of it. We are working hard and improving and we just need to execute better.
I do not think the crowd affected us, but the position of being in a big time game may well have affected us.
I am disappointed, but I am realistic too. When you put your defense back on the field repeatedly, the offense needs to do its job and the defense needs to get itself off the field.
He seems faster too me. He could get seven to 10 yards in a pretty comfortable fashion. I went up to our defense and said `Hey guys, that guy is pretty fast.'
We threw passes enough that we were prime to catch them and get up to speed. I think we will be fine there.
He seemed very calm. He was controlling of the offense, making call and checks and things like that. But things happen and we have to readjust and come back stronger every series and at times we failed to do that as an offense. But we need to improve on that. It's something we need to learn from and the type of guys we have on this team, the character, I see us really improving from this.
What happened there was they were moving the chains and we had the call made. We were really trying to get two plays if we could have rather than use the timeout thereafter.
I think all of our guys work hard and want to improve. They want answers, and the film will be the answer. The coaches will collect it and get better. I do not think anybody wants a rebuilding year. That's not something that I have ever said.
Anthony came in and played well. We know that both of our quarterback have the ability to play well so we just have some things we need to improve on as the weeks go on.
My dad's a Pentecostal minister, meaning that he's full of charisma. If he's telling a story about Noah's ark, you best know each tiger is going to be having their own little conversation and narrative.
I have read some great books recently: "Heaven is For Real," "Bud Not Buddy," and my favorite, "Tiger Eyes."
What! Did Sir W[alter] R[aleigh] believe that a male and female ounce (and, if so, why not two tigers and lions, etc?) would have produced, in a course of generations, a cat, or a cat a lion? This is Darwinizing with a vengeance.
I am afraid if there is anything to be afraid of. A precipice cannot hurt you. Lions and tigers can. The streets of New York I consider more dangerous than the Matterhorn to a thoroughly competent and careful climber.
I've felt that if I just used initials nobody would know whether I was a man or a woman, a dog or a tiger. I could hide from view, like a bat on the underside of a branch.
Obviously, everybody wants to see Tiger [Woods] come back, but I think it's in a really good place with how much talent is out there and the exciting finishes you have, week in, week out.
Cold Mountain is hidden in white clouds It's peaceful to be cut off from the busy world I use dry grass for cushions in my mountain home My only light is the round moon My bed is the rock beside the green pool Tigers and deer are my companions I delight in this happy peaceful life Forever beyond the world of men
CROUCHING TIGER is nevertheless a gloriously big epic, starring the Hong Kong action stars Chow Yun-Fat and Michelle Yeoh in a visionary adventure where the characters seem set free from the force of gravity.
There [DreamTigers by Jorge Luis Borges] were these little fablesque things, you know, dream tigers, beautiful, beautiful pieces that when you read them had the power of a long piece, but they were prose, and they had the power of poetry, in that the last line wasn't the end, it was a reverberation, like when you tap on a glass made of crystal, and it goes ping.
If somebody had told me that you have a choice of being a rock star or playing left field for the Tigers, there would not have been a choice at all. I would have said, 'Where's my locker?'
