Al-Awlaki was born here, he is an American citizen. He was never tried or charged for any crimes. No one knows if he killed anybody. We know he might have been associated with the underwear bomber. But if the American people accept this blindly and casually that we now have an accepted practice of the president assassinating people who he thinks are bad guys, I think it's sad.

Immigrants can spread diseases for which we may have no immunity. There is also the question of crime and culture. Many immigrants come from countries with different legal structures and are not willing to behave in the way we expect American citizens to behave.
There is no such thing as a hate crime.
If somebody's in prison for non-violence, drug usage, and never committed a hard crime, they should be pardoned and let out.
Because federal hate crime laws criminalize thoughts, they are incompatible with a free society.
